Position Overview:
We are seeking qualified and dedicated qualified ECE Relief Teachers to join our pool of educators. As a relief teacher, you will provide crucial support to early childhood centers by stepping in to cover staff absences, ensuring continuity in the children's learning and care. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work in a variety of early childhood settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching and Care: Provide high-quality education and care to children, following the established curriculum and center policies.
- Adaptability: Quickly adapt to different early childhood environments, understanding each center’s unique procedures and culture.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for all children.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with children, staff, and parents, ensuring clear and positive interactions.
- Professionalism: Demonstrate professionalism in all interactions, upholding the standards and reputation of our agency.
Qualifications:
- Education: A diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field.
- Experience: Previous experience working in early childhood education is preferred.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and establish rapport with children and staff.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor.

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate ECE Centre Manager to lead their daycare centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a positive and collaborative environment for both children and staff. This role is pivotal in maintaining our high standards of care and education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of the centre, ensuring a safe, clean, and well-organized environment.
- Staff Supervision: Lead, mentor, and support a team of early childhood educators and staff, fostering a positive and professional workplace culture.
- Curriculum Implementation: Ensure the implementation of a high-quality, developmentally appropriate curriculum that meets the needs of all children.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the centre complies with all local and national regulations and standards, including health and safety requirements.
- Parent Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with parents and guardians, addressing their concerns and ensuring their involvement in the centre’s activities.
- Professional Development: Encourage and facilitate ongoing professional development for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Education: A diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in early childhood education, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Sound understanding of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Proficiency in administrative and financial management.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with staff, parents, and the community.
Certification/Qualification:
- A valid New Zealand ECE teacher registration
- First aid certification
